The purpose of the students’ council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.
This activity helps student to become more responsible about their duties. They develop leadership qualities while guiding their fellow students. Working in groups makes them better team players. The mind gets prepared for all circumstances and they learn how to work under pressure and organize events. It builds up their confidence.
To inculcate these values in a child, election is conducted, where students cast their votes on preferential basis and school Head boy, Head girl, Asst. Head boy and Asst. Head girl are elected by the students. They carry out their duties and responsibilities under the guidance of the principal and teachers.
