Guru Purnima Celebrated at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Mandya
Guru Purnima is also known as Vyasa purnima as it is believed that on this day Ved Vyasa the author of Mahabharata was born. Sage Vyasa is the pioneer of the guru- shishya tradition. It is an auspicious day in Chinmaya family as we pay tribute to Swami Chinmayanandaji and remember his preachings and try to imbibe them.
Shlokas are chanted by students and teachers.
